GROWTH HISTORY
CareCloud was founded by American entrepreneur, Mahmad Haq, in 1999 as Medical Transcription Billing Corporation (MTBC). Mr. Haq’s wife was a physician, and the medical billing problems her practice faced were a barrier to delivering the best quality care to her patients.
Mr. Haq saw that problem and created a solution. Today, this vision is known as CareCloud. CareCloud was built upon the principles of rapidly delivering needed innovation and acquiring organizations to deliver one of the most complete healthcare technology suites that enable providers to deliver quality care.
